We are now delivering to brooklyn through caviar!!! Plus: Volta NY art fair and Choice Eats 2015

You asked for it and now you’re gettin it!!! Littleneck is offering delivery of select menu items via CAVIAR. You can take a peak at the menu below.

Right now the service is pretty new to Brooklyn so delivery is only available to the neighborhoods outlined below however we are hoping to to see that expand in the coming months.

Also, we will have a pop-up cafe and bar at the Volta NY Art Fair which runs from March 5th through the 8th. It’s right next door to the Armory Show and you know you are gonna come by and say WHAT UP. We’ll have sandwiches, pastries, beer, wine, booze, and all the fixxxxxxxxins. So many fixxxxxxxxins. So come holla at us all weekend long!

And finally, be sure to join us once again at the 8th Annual Village Voice Choice Eats Tasting Event. This year it is all going down at the Metropolitan Center on 18th Street in Manhattan. And as if they couldn’t top Andy Rourke from The Smiths’ DJ set a couple years ago this year they’ve roped in none other than Jonathan Clarke from Q104.3 so expect a glut of Foghat and endless workforce blocks of Petty and Thin Lizzy in addition to all the free food and drink.

New fall menu items, wine list, and cocktails are now served!

What up YO!!!!!?!?!?

We’ve got a bunch of new dishes on the menu for fall including a grilled romaine wedge with a buttermilk blue cheese, Portuguese Stew, grilled Brook Trout, and of course cinnamon donuts with a maple Jameson whiskey cream! CHECK OUT THE FULL MENU HERE. And we will be debuting a revamped brunch menu later on this month.

We’ve also updated the cocktail and wine list for fall with some CHOICE SELECTIONS such as the Tall Dark Stranger (pictured below), a riff on an Old Fashioned with High West Rendezvous Rye, Applejack, and a rosemary infused maple syrup. It’s the only drink we have ever named for a Buck Owens song and that should be reason enough to stop by. Yeah buddy.

And don’t forget that we have $1 OYSTER HAPPY HOUR Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM. That’s $1 OYSTERS (shucker’s choice) and all DRAFT BEER is only 5 BUCKS!!!

And one final programming note: we are proud to participate once again in the Moby Dick Marathon later on this month. It is New York’s premiere 3 day celebration of the EPIC LED ZEPPELIN TUNE Herman Melville classic. Please do stop by.

New York Mag’s Best New Oyster Happy Hour + Kitchensurfing Lobster Roller!

Hello there budget-minded bivalve lovers! I am sure you have all been waiting with baited breath and the moment is finally here (or, rather, it was here a week and a half ago and I am just now getting around to updating the site): New York Magazine‘s SHUCK YEAH: The Latest In Oyster Happy Hours list for 2013 has finally hit the streets…er, Internet. And looky who’s the lead-off…US!!!

Just as a reminder we offer OYSTER HAPPY HOUR Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 5 – 7 PM with $1 oysters and all draft beer for 5 bucks!

And, in other news, we were lucky enough to be asked to compete in the Lobster Roller, an event organized by our buddies around the block over at Kitchensurfing. The competition was fierce with chefs from across the city all vying for ultimate bragging rights. In the end we took home the GOLD. You can check up a wrap-up of the entire event over on the Kitchensurfing blog as well as on The TV Dinner, the blog of Lobster Roller judge and NY1 traffic reporter of record, Jamie Shupak. Congrats to all the other competitors and thanks to the Kitchensurfing crew for inviting us to compete!

And if you haven’t stopped by to check it out yet Littleneck is now serving BRUNCH or “WEEKEND LUNCH” for those of you who detest the ‘B’ word. In any case we adjusted the brunch hours to go until 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday so you can get that extra hour in….because we know you sometimes aren’t a morning person and we totally understand. But don’t take my word for it…we just landed on the Eater Brunch Heatmap.

Finally, in case you missed it Littleneck turned 1 year old a couple months back and we were interviewed by Eater about where we started, where we are at, and where we are headed in the future. Go check it out….and also in a shocker which has sent reverberations around the world we (or one of us, anyway) was named one of Flavorpill’s 50 Culture Makers to Watch in 2013. I know, crazy. Right?

OK see ya on Valentine’s Day and hopefully sooner!!!
